Calling NEU members who are experts in the teaching of Spanish
The NEU is offering a unique opportunity to members who are experts in the teaching of Spanish to primary or secondary school pupils.
We are seeking up to six members to travel to Nicaragua to share their knowledge and skills with Nicaraguan teachers of English. Your expertise in teaching language acquisition will be an invaluable asset as Nicaragua seeks to develop English language teaching in schools.
This is a partnership project between the NEU, ANDEN (the Nicaraguan teachers’ union) and the Nicaragua Solidarity Campaign Action Group. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to share your teaching skills, show solidarity with teachers in Nicaragua and to see and experience the country, visit its schools and meet its people.
