Conference design and content is being put together by elected members of the union’s Supply Members and Home Tutors Organising Forum (OF). The event will feature keynote speakers and OF-led delegates’ workshops on subjects including:
Writing, amending and debating motions for national conference.
- Including supply members in pay and other campaigns.
- Understanding Union structures.
- Alternatives to commercial agencies.
- The Agency Workers Regulations (AWR) and the NEU online AWR Pay Assessor.
- Mental health awareness.
- Using the union’s ‘Charter for Supply Educators’ resource.
This will be a busy, informative, interactive and inclusive conference with good social activities and networking opportunities also available.
